Customer Review: motor burns out

We have had 2 of these (from Lowe's), used primarily for vacuuming. Works pretty well on grass and leaves, but will not pick up Acorns. Major complaint is that the motor burned out in about a year each time. I'm planning to buy a Toro 51599 instead.

Customer Review: Very Disappointed

Overheated with first use, even using a heavy duty cord. The sad thing is, it's not worth bothering to send it back (to the manufacturer).
